Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Speculatores Group International Security Consulting ("Speculatores Group", "we", "our") collects, uses, retains, and safeguards information about visitors to our website and prospective clients who contact us through it.

01 · Data Controller

The data controller for all personal data processed in connection with this website and our consulting services is Speculatores Group International Security Consulting, registered in Switzerland.

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or wish to exercise your rights, you may contact us at speculatores-group@proton.me.

02 · What data we collect

When you submit an enquiry through our contact form, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, and the contents of your message. We may also receive optional contextual fields (organisation, requested service, operational zone) when you choose to provide them.

This website sets essential technical cookies required for site functionality and security (for example, session identifiers used to protect form submissions, and UTM parameters used for campaign attribution). We do not set marketing, advertising, or behavioural analytics cookies on this site. If non-essential cookies are added in the future, they will be disclosed here and the visitor will be informed before any such cookie is set.

03 · Purpose and legal basis

Personal data submitted via the contact form is processed for the purpose of responding to your enquiry, arranging a confidential consultation, and providing the security consulting services you request. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in conducting business communications, supplemented by consent where required by applicable law.

04 · Retention

Contact form submissions are kept for twenty-four (24) months and are then deleted from our systems, unless retention is required to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation.

05 · Sub-processors

To operate this website and deliver our services we rely on the following sub-processors: an email-sending provider reached via the Polsia proxy endpoint at polsia.com/api/proxy/email/send, used to deliver enquiry notifications to our intake team; and a hosting provider (Render) on which the website and database are operated.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share personal data with third parties for their own independent purposes.

06 · International transfers

Personal data may be transferred outside of Switzerland and the European Economic Area where our sub-processors operate (for example, hosting on Render in the United States, and email relay via the Polsia proxy endpoint). Where such transfers occur, we rely on the European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent contractual safeguards to protect your data, in conjunction with any additional measures required by Swiss and EEA data protection law.

07 · Your rights (RGPD)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, or any other jurisdiction that grants equivalent data protection rights, you have the rights described below with respect to your personal data.

Right of access — request a copy of the data we hold about you. Right of rectification — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data. Right to erasure — request deletion of your data, where no overriding legal obligation prevents it. Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format. Right to object — object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interest or for direct marketing. Right to restrict processing — request that processing be temporarily suspended while a dispute is resolved. Right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, withdraw that consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at speculatores-group@proton.me. We will acknowledge your request and respond within thirty (30) days.

08 · Disclaimer

Speculatores Group provides advisory services in high-risk and conflict-affected environments. Nothing on this site, and nothing communicated through it, constitutes legal, medical, or operational advice, and nothing on this site creates a client relationship.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of information on this site; however, we make no warranty as to the completeness, reliability, or accuracy of any content. This website may contain links to third-party resources; we do not endorse or assume responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of any external sites linked from our pages.

09 · Cookies

This website displays no cookie consent banner because it sets only essential technical cookies (session and UTM parameters used for form protection and campaign attribution). Any future use of non-essential cookies will be added here and the visitor will be informed before such cookies are set. You may disable cookies in your browser at any time; doing so may affect the functionality of this website.
